Viewing Album:  Southern Pacific 2-6-6-2 mallet #952 - from 1916

Album Info:From a collection of unpublished photos from a member of of a National Guard unit being mobilized to El Paso in 1916-117. They guarded the border while Gen Pershing went into Mexico chasing Pancho Villa (unsuccessfully). They did travel through Louisiana and other pics show them on the rail transport ship "Carrier", so I am assuming this is either Southern Pacific or Texas & New Orleans (T&NO) or similar. Dates are related to their mobilization records. it is not at all clear if this was travelling to or from El Paso.
